New Strategy Revealed to the Public! - 12-20-2003 4:20 PM - by Minimeatz
It has come to my attention that the strategy's that I have written for Agony are exceedingly popular on a few other guild websites, so I decided to write a new strategy today, and instead of having it be stolen or leaked, I would just post it publically for everyone to enjoy, since you're going to get your hands on it anyways, I might as well just hand it over.... I hope you all are able to tackle this encounter as well as Agony will someday! Enjoy

BATTLE PLAN - North Temple of Veeshan
Here it is, the NTOV battle strategy, learn it, read the map, look closely at the areas where the mobs are so you know the safe spots and the NON-Safe spots (this is important).
Pay attention to the mob placement, and where everyone should be standing.
So this is how the zone is gonna go down....
--
First we enter the zone, this of course requires everyone in the guild to successfully get to the zone without dying like a bunch of short bus retards. This will be 50% of our success, getting to the zone, with no deaths.
Once inside we will take a Non-Kos mage and run them up to the COH safe spot, just before that dragon that begins with an A .. aryronoarara or whatever.. you get the idea. We'll pull the trash mobs before that dragon, praying we don't wipe.
Once that is done we'll setup for the Aryronoarara kill... this will happen by taking all of the wizards and standing them right in the middle of the hallway. We'll take all the enchanters, illusion them into Ogres and put up an Ogre wall the width of the hallway. This prevents the dragon from getting to the wizards. We'll use a cleric to pull the dragon into location, and as the mob enters camp, all wizards unload their mana until he dies... its real easy.
Next we move on to Lord Feshlak, who if you look closely at the map which is highly detailed I might add *pats himself on the back*. This encounter is really tough, the dragon is rooted in place so you know what that means? Max melee range OMG.... we'll clear the trash in the way, since he's rooted, he can't get to us, so again, we'll use all casters to unload their mana out of harms way until he dies.
Then we move north to Lord Kriezan, now this dragon has a really messed up AE, but there's a trick to him. Clerics are immune to it, some sort of class bug in the game, but we'll exploit the hell out of it to ensure a win. Our head cleric Primer will run in chain stunning the mob so he takes ALL the aggro the dragon has, and since he's immune to the ae, he can just stand there.... again the casters will just nuke him down until he dies. (he's also rooted, thanks SOE for making it so easy!)
After that, we'll move back to Lord Vyemm, which if you look on the map is in the bottom left side of NTOV. Now this dragons ae is the bestest in the whole wide world, its so l33t... we'll make sure that everyone runs in at the same time, because the trick to this dragon isn't fighting him where he's standing, its fighting him while your in the pit. In the pit you ask? How so? Well this dragon's ae has knockback, so the trick is to ensure ALL the guildies get hit by it as we run in, so we all get sent into the pit. What the map doesn't show is the hidden tunnel in the lava, which if you swim underneath Lord Vyemm you can actually hit him, but he can't hit you back... yah its a geography exploit but who cares, he dies and we're safe.
Once he dies, we move north to the Lord Koi'doken dragon, who is a dragon of water, and actually sits in a little pool of water. Now here's the greatest part about this strategy, since he's a water dragon, whats the best way to kill him? Fire of course... so what we do is cast levitate on a warrior, and then group them with a mage. The warrior goes in, tags the dragon and then runs over the lava pit... so Lord'Koidoken falls off the ledge, and since he's a water dragon, he burns up in the lava and dies... we don't even have to engage!! Once we see him become a corpse, we have the warrior loot, announce the loot, then send people down to loot the items, and coh them back up! So easy!
After that, is Lady Mirenilla... now her AE is really bad... she silences, and since we have some loud mouth bitches in our guild, I'll make sure to send them in first so we don't have to hear a word out of them for a while ... WTB: longer duration on her AE. The trick to this fight is making sure I don't take the silence, because then I can't tell you fags what to do to win.... so I'll just sit in back and direct you on what to do. No real secret to her, just make sure we put all the whiney non-respected loot whoring bitches in front so they get silantesed... rumor has it though, this particular mob is currently bugged and is dropping Exquisite Puresteel Wraps, which last I checked was off some mob called Xegony the Queen of Air? Hrm .. oh well, lucky for us, MORE PHAT LOOTS...

Now the encounter gets even more crazy, cause we have to go near the POM zoneline (Thats Plane of Mischief for you morons out there).... the hardest part about getting past this corner in the game, is resisting the urge to click the castle and leave NTOV... but I have faith in you all, I think we can handle it... just hug the right wall and pray for the best.
Once we get past that corner of doom, we have to kill Lady Nev and Jorllega, now here's the real beauty of this battle. Lady Nev has a spinning/stun AE and Jorllega has a dispel AE ... so guess what we're gonna do?! YOU GOT IT! We're gonna fight them at the SAME TIME .. you see this is the bestest strategy ever, we'll engage Lady Nev, who will cause us to go spinning like children on a merry-go-round, and then Jorllega will dispel it off!! Its a beautiful strat and we can kill 2 dragons at once, thus saving us time!!! Let their AE's cancel each other... woo hoo!
Then once that is done and all the phat lewts have been handed out, guess whats next? The final dragon of NTOV ... VULAK'AER! This event is a ring event, which basically means we have to fight mob after mob after mob after mob after ... is it over yet? However, some of you may notice we didn't kill Cekemar, Zlexak, and Sevalak ... why not you ask? Well this is the bestest thing ever! Vulak'aer is KOS to ALL things, including his own dragon family, so what we do is leave a couple of rangers in the safe spot (noted on the map) just before those 3 dragons... as soon as we spawn Vulak'Aer, we aggro those 3 dragons and run them down to Vulak's area! They battle Vulak for us!! Its great, beacause Vulak is so strong, he'll rip through 2 of them for sure, and he'll almost be dead himself, so we just nuke a few times on both and kill them and get all 4 dragons in ONE SHOT!!! Its so great, and easy...
So thats its kids, all we need is people to show up and be online for this encounter, and we'll clear all of NTOV hopefully on our tenth try ever!!
Werd!
