They told me Agony could not be revived... we proved them wrong. They told me Agony would never see Elemental Planes... we proved them wrong. They told me Agony would never see Time... we proved them wrong. They told me Agony would never see Quarm... and once again, we proved them wrong.

In what has been the most involved journey through EverQuest in the last 9 months, it has finally come to an end in the Planes of Power expansion. Quarm lay dead at our feet.

Before we went head to head with Quarm, he requested a visit from the great Minimeatz.

Quarm said to me, "Minimeatz my young Gnome, the people of Norrath have been keeping me informed of your recent activity."

I replied, "What do you mean Quarm?"

Quarm said to me, "Well it has come to my attention, that you have gone against what is deemed normal in the world of Norrath, and taken upon yourself 5 wives, a harem of sorts"

Shocked by his statement I couldn't help but reply, "Quarm, Im insulted that you would look down upon this, for I am the Hugeharem master, and my women serve me well.. and lets not forget oh great dragon of Time, it was YOU who taught me the ways of persuading women... and as my strength grows, my harem grows"

In a small pause and hesitation, Quarm smiled and nodded at me. He understood now why I had done, what I had done and no longer looked down upon me as a mortal of vengance but one of equal respect and power. As I departed his chambers, I looked back and yelled... "Quarm, although my respect for you is high, and you have taught me the ways of woman persuasion, I shall not stop until I stand above you as your master... you will fall someday Quarm.... someday....."

In the normal Agony spirit, we took our first attempt just over a week ago, and came up short at 48%. 6 days later we made our 2nd attempt, and again came up short with a wipe at 22%. Gathering the information from our 1st and 2nd attempt, we redesigned the strategy nearly from scratch and made our 3rd attempt. I wish I could say it was an epic battle, and many were killed through the process, but the reality is we beat him without sustaining a single death, until after he was dead, then someone in pure excitement forgot to cure the dot and died. So I guess technically, we had one death...

Little did I know, that Quarm was a bigger ladies man than I had ever imagined, and he had soiled the oats of my very own members, in a manner I could do nothing but cringe upon. I had been violated, my members had been violated... and this was his way of reminding me that even in death, he is still superior in the arts of women...



I am very proud of where Agony has been and where we are going. When I first rejoined the ranks, they were a bunch of Velious dragon killing ragamuffins with the play skill of your average fire beetle in North Ro.... they have molded now into a machine of killing power. Although we may not be the first guild to accomplish things on a server, we do still accomplish the progression at our own pace, and we've had a ton of fun doing it in the process.
