Moving along in Plane of Air - 11-18-2003 2:00 AM - by Herrc

Tonight we proved the dust ring can be trivial. There has been mention of this ring being broken. It appeared to function identical to the previous time we defeated it.

In other news, we've been killing nearly everything that has been left available to us minus an EP god kill. This averaging only 6 clerics on most nights. Coirnav was attempted and doesn't look all that bad. Xegony we have spent some time with and her days are very much numbered. Rallos we own. We had a 1 death kill on him (50 people approx.) which puts us up to 12 successful kills in a row (not including any multiguild kills) since Agony first downed him and still only 1 Blade of War.

This is the final boss on the dust ring before we pay a little visit to the Avatar.

Like mentioned before, we have spent some time with Xegony. She is not as innocent as she looks. She can beat your raid down in a hurry if you don't know what your doing. Not a bad fight so far and expect to see her face down soon.

SoE incorporates new vocabulary! - 11-08-2003 11:57 PM - by Minimeatz

Agony took some heavy plunges into the Xegony script today. Let me add that there was another guild with 60-70 people fluctuating also in the zone, so as you can imagine the lag with 130 people in the zone was less than desired.

During the event (which yes, we were in the zone for 7+ hours), the spawn timers got severely messed up due to the mad lag. This of course can cause the event to go haywire, but even with that, we still stuck with it getting better and better, lag aside.

Now here's where things get exciting... the other guild decided after doing the Plane of Air rings, that they wanted Xegony, and since we had been there so long, we should just let them have the mob.

Of course, as with all crap incidents guides or GM's sometimes get involved, which is exactly what happened.

It turns out that SOE has incorporated some new english words into their vocabulary, which you can clearly see in this image:

What exactly is a CKBlock? Could you be a little more specific? Or better yet maybe take 2 seconds to come to the zone and SEE what the hell we're doing? Do you even know how the event works? Do you realize its a 30+ minute event from the time the mob is pulled?

So I decided to play along with Mr. Guides language game, and replied accordingly.

Now the most jacked up part about this entire thing was that the GM was actually going to port my entire guild out of the zone, port the other guild in, allow them to have their chance, and if they failed, port our guild back.

Since when has porting guilds around to attempt mobs been part of the policy? Or better yet, porting them to a location that they were not even at themselves? Hrm... whats with the GM's these days?

Regardless, the opposing guild was asked to leave so we could have a fair run at Xegony. Which turned out to be the most productive of our attempts when the zone became lag free. Although time got the best of us, and we were tired (you would be too after 7 hours of frustration and ghosting mobs, laggy timers and screwy cheal chains) so we made a couple lag-free attempts, nearly beating the beotch, then decided to call it a night.

Xegony will fall soon....

Farming galore! - 11-07-2003 4:21 PM - by Minimeatz

Well there hasn't been any earth shattering advancements lately. We've been farming loot as often as possible as we push forward with the Elemental Gods.

However on the backside, lots of new things have been going on. We've introduced a bunch of member only website features to make our lives easier.

And now, we have our own internal item database, which we can post links on our news updates as follows:

Raex's Gauntlets of Destruction

More killing and advancement to come soon! Stay tuned!
