Scholomance - 05-26-2005 4:10 PM - by Herrc

This past week we had some members of our HardCoreCrew (HCC(tm)) out at their usual early morning hours ready to take on something interesting. HCC(tm) is all about doing more with less so we hit up Scholomance with 5 and completed the entire zone with no wipes in a bit over 4 hours. Stromm went home happy with his new Valor hat, so gratz to you good man.

The zone itself is a lot more fun to play through with 5 then 10. Shadow Priests will do well here with Silence and their additional damage output since there is not alot of healing to be done overall except in a couple spots. Scenery is not a highlight in this place as it looks pretty much the same throughout, but the mobs do vary from nasty AEs and cleaves, to exploding corpses. The bosses are pretty easy overall with Lord Alexei Barov and his 2 gaurds being the "main event" of the place, or the most challenging encounter. We beat him our first try with no deaths, and without using the "pull his gaurds to fight him single" secret pull trick because that would just be too easy, and easy is boring. I challenge people to do this place with 1 group, it's a good test to see what your made of.

Upper Blackrock Spire - 05-18-2005 4:16 AM - by Herrc

UBRS isn't anything new to many of us, but it continues to be one of our common stomping grounds until we are ready for bigger and better places. The place includes some key gear set pieces and a fairly wide selection of other loot to keep people coming back for more. Speaking of gear sets, the other day we cleaned out Scholomance and Doomzayer became the first in Agony to complete his class set, that being the Warlock Dreadmist set shown bellow. Gratz man!

Leveling, keying, farming - 05-10-2005 2:01 PM - by Herrc

It's been awhile, but we're still here and kickin. We're quickly closing in on that magic number of level 60's so we can sufficiently hit up Molten Core for what it's worth. For now the gear farming continues.

A few weeks back Emaleth became one of the first (maybe the first?) on Doomhammer with her newly quested Warlock Epic mount, which included a fun event in the final stage of the quest in Dire Maul.

Our luck with key parts turned around this past month with the completion of a couple Upper Blackrock Spire keys. People continue to work on their Onyxia keys, and Molten Core attunement is ongoing as well.
