So I haven't been able to watch any of the youtube vids peeps have posted cause it says I dont' have flash, even though I do. Long story short: I have flash version 6, and when I go to the official site to update it, and click Install (version 8 ) it says "Flash is successfully installed". Yet it's merely recognizing v6, and not updating to v8. I don't think I"ve ever encountered a dumber autoinstaller from an official site before in my life.

Try installing an alternate browser such as firefox and install flash on it. If you are still using IE, you should switch to something else anyway.

I Use Firefox. I really like it.
