holy crap that is sadness. after watching the making of the 200th episode last night i think i understand it's time for this show to end. i have high hopes they will create something new and interesting within the sg-1 universe. and if not, well there's always atlantis.

I'll just miss sci-fi fridays is all.

Yeah Firefly being cancelled sucked mostly because they only had one season and you knew there was a lot more story to be told.

I doubt it could have lasted 10 seasons but I wish it'd had the chance to at least go 2.

Farscape cancelled = scifi sucks. Even though Henson and crew bent over backwards getting the story closed out by making the movie.

Farscapes one weakness is you pretty much have to watch it from the beginning. Otherwise, it's just weird. Actually, it's just weird period, but at least there is continuity if you watch from the beginning.

It was DIFFERENT. It wasnt the same old scifi bullshit, the humans weren't in charge, nobody was the noble super good guy. The characters had flaws, they did weird stuff. There would be no Battlestar Galactica without Farscape, Ron Moore pretty much said so (although he wanted to drop the heavy continuity dependency, and seems to have succeeded).

I watched a few episodes of Farscape and while I loved the idea of an organic living ship the little bits I saw felt like the old Buck Rogers tv show mixed with Muppets, CGI, and weirdness. There seemed to be way too much psychological stuff going on as their did real life action. Not saying that's a bad thing but definately very hard to get into from where I tried to start.
