Honestly I got back into EQ the last time they did this back in August (gave a free 21 days). I wound up paying for an additional month or two, and Merra (Merro) and I just made a rogue and ranger twink and fucked around. I saw myself getting sucked back in, so I sent the CD's home with Mike (Merra) and uninstalled the program.

You seriously have to go a week of withdrawals before you can actually quit this game (unless you get wrapped up in another game, as most of us did when we left EQ).

After playing WoW for a year, I logged Minimeatz back in ... socialized for an hour, and logged out.

I won't get sucked back in, because the game just doesn't do it for me anymore.

Yeah - but the truth is that EQ stopped "doing it for me" a long time before I quit... I was just always looking for a game that did it for me since.

EQ is like that girl you dated until you found something better, the one you know you'll never marry - but it's nice to have an infinite supply of sex and / or company.

Shit - all i've been playing lately is Starcraft and Halo2 .... really wished I was able to get into WoW like ya'll did... but unfortunately it just didn't do it for me either.

Although I'm not Agony yet, I still like to socialize.

EQ was never high on my list, I hated the fact that everything past the newbie areas required a group to survive in. And I hated even more that warriors in that game seemed to be weaker than even a mage in melee, blargh. At least, to me it seemed that way.

But then again...the first race I -ever- played in the game was an Iksar (I'm a reptile-nut, if it's got scales and a tail, it's my favorite race, even if it IS K.O.S.) and got him to level 36 before I quit the game and came to WoW with my dad. I've ALWAYS been a Warcraft fan, and this game just meant alot to me when it came out.
