personly i think photo is sign is uter bull shit. And what better way to desecrate this the showing the beauty of 2 women kissing... Aside from ripeing it down and takeing a big shit on it.

The guys with those signs show up to any place where there's a shitload of people in a particular area. Major sporting events, Mardi Gras, etc. Attention whores for the most part. Ripping down the sign or doing anything to acknowledge their presence is a win for them. I find them hilarious whenever I see them, can't be a real party party without one of those guys preaching on a loudspeaker or bullhorn.
The best thing I saw was at a previous Mardi Gras, was a guy dressed and accessorized just like one of them. Yelling out to drink, flash, etc. Funny stuff.

I'm trying to figure out what does work for the dude, based on the sign. Apparently only married child bearing republican protestants who don't drink, listen to rock, and who haven't read Darwin.

I guess I should have been more specific and said Christianists instead of the religious right. There are tons of good conservative Christians and I honestly didn't mean to lump them together with those who are trying to turn this country into a theocracy.

Just busting chops. Seriously though, people don't make a difference being a scene-causing media hog. If anything, they are receding work done by others to maintain a moral base for the country, whatever that means to people. I'm a huge supporter of showing that you care rather than screaming it in others' faces.

Believe it or not Rathic there are a group of people who claim to be christians and cite a bible passage that believes they *must* rejoice when those who support/enable wickedness are killed. They believe that the laws of the US support homosexuality and therefore they must rejoice and celebrate whenever a US soldier is killed in Iraq/Afghanistan. These are the same group that show up to funerals with God Hates Fags signs.
