Adrienna,
I am a registered republican (since I was 18 ), I don't believe in the religious/ moral bullshit the party spirits out. so i would gage myself more middle of the road of libertarian and republican. When it comes to the Federal Government I am mostly libertarian because like i said before ALL welfare programs should be State run and the Feds just need to protect me from foreign invaders and make sure the States do not pass anything to stop my civil rights or is unconstitutional. With state politics I fall more Middle of the road Republican, I like Arnold alot. I still strongly think people need to rely on their family, churches and other social organizations, charities before looking toward the government. Yes I do understand that sometimes people need a little help and the above social structures can not always help, and i don't mind the State stepping in. Like i said it is a smaller demographic and the State can tailor programs around that.
Now Pry, on corporate regulations, the basic answer will be yes they should have regulations. now what to regulate and how much is a much larger answer. let me generalize and spout off a few things they need to be regulated and held accountable for (I will miss some or alot)
1. Safe product/ OCHA regulations
2. proper book keeping/No defrauding the public or employees.
3. Prevention of Monopolies
4. EPA regulations
5. Unions (I know this isn't directly connected to corporation's but)
Things that shouldn't be regulated.
1. Research (unless if directly violates one of the above)
2. profits
Sorry I couldn't be more clear but its earlly
Where did all the good sizzle go?
