they're not gay but not the best in the universe either, about average in my book.

i'd never buy an album of theirs but i'd listen without complaint.

I don't think when you answer no you're calling them gay, but admiting that you yourself love the ol' shaft.

I absolutely love Hall and Oates.

But that shouldn't be a big surprise. I bought their greatest hits CD when I was stationed in Germany like 12 years ago. One of the best CDs I ever bought. Most albums I have, I like maybe half of the songs, the rest are just ok. When I listened to the H&O CD, I don't think I skipped a single song.

My friend's mom used to think the band name was "Haulin' Oats."
