When I was just a tot, and relegated to watching cartoons only for about an hour on certain days on a POS UHF - yes I'm that old - TV in the basement because the other TV was in use - Speed Racer, oh yes, Speed racer was a masterpiece.

I don't care that it appears nobody is acting here. I don't care that it looks cheesy as all hell. It's speed...freakin...racer man.

That and Iron Man are going to be a retro-cool summer!

Iron Man on my birthday, someone must like me!

I was a big Speed Racer fan when I was a wee tot. Well actually I was a big Mach 5 fan. I had nightmares for years about the episode where he becomes a demon or something like that. With that said, I've seen the trailer and am not too enthused. I'll download it I guess.

Actually, even when I was a kid, I can remembering wondering why Speed looked so girly. But the Mach 5 balanced it out, so np.

Yeah, I think they nailed it with Ironman casting, and the director is a geek, so it has promise.

That cartoon directly affected my future love for cars and all things fast. I agree with Rem. It looks absolutely horrid but I'm sure I'll still end up seeing it

I wanted the show to be called Racer X.
