heck yeah! I just got my email this morning, and i'm reinstalling both, if not to just talk to some old friends who never switched over. Should be interesting!

I downloaded and installed EQ1 last night. 9 hours later I am still patching. I guess they don't really expect any new players to buy the game and start playing do they?

Their goal is to keep you patching for 2 months, so they don't actually give you anything.

I have tried logging in a couple of times (took a nice trip to Qeynos for vacation) but only once have I found somoene I knew, Midasa.
How do people continue to play and enjoy that old relic? =P

What made me saddest about logging into EQ1 was that my old friends list was blank and fuck if I can remember anyone's names 8 years later!

HAHA damn you people and free EQ. Now I will have to load and log in and see how I know thats plays still. I know there are several in Triality that are still around. Now be nice to Midasa course Im still waiting for her to come down to Va Beach and play some Volleyball. She keeps telling me she good.

I revived my EQ account, went through the pain of downloading, installing, updating.. and the load times and performance were just horrible for some reason, it was never that bad before. I'm writing time spent doing that off as a loss, it is totally unplayable for me.
I've been messing around with EQ2 on the Oasis server when I have spare time. If anyone else plays there, add me to your friends list or something. Monox (gnome berserker) and Monoxx (sarnak shadowknight)

Hey Primer, Agony exists in EQ2 already. I forget what server we are on but Adrienna set it all up some time ago. You're right, EQ1 is totally unplayable but the free EQ2 they have up also includes the new Kunark expansion so I'm probably going to download that and play for free for a couple months.
