Barn Owl Release

Many of you know that I do volunteer work at a non-profit organization called Project Wildlife. We were recently featured on the local news here in San Diego for rehabilitating a barn owl that was injured in the wild fires last October.
Here is a link to the news website, click the "Watch Video" box to see the story. For those of you that have never seen a barn owl in real life, pay close attention to the hissing and screaming sounds that it makes. They are very intimidating and I had one hissing and screaming at me like that for a good 30 minutes. It was awesome!

And in case anyone was wondering, it costs about $3000 to rehabilitate an animal like that.
