I was kicked out of Agony after several years of loyal membership. I did nothing wrong, and I was given no reason as to why I was removed. I have tried on multiple occasions to talk with Verato in and out of game, and he will give me no explanation.

Tend, you've been a good friend over the years and i like you, but wow is a different game. when you came to raids you have a big chip on your shoulder and complained a LOT.
you bitched because they didn't give you the banked mage loot. you bitched when you had to sit out of raids because people who login night after night were favored, 5 years doesn't mean much when you login once in a blue moon then demand a spot in the raid.
personally i'd jsut as soon not speak to you in game, since everytime we spoke in wow you've bitched at me about someone or something everytime.
i'm sorry if the management has decided to not have you be part of Agony in wow. i'm guessing by the time you read this far you'll call me an asshole and login tonight to bitch me out. and that's exactly my point. sorry tend.

I made it perfectly clear, you are not a fit for Agony anymore. You are not the only one who was removed, you were not singled out, and you were not an example. You were just another member in the list of people to be removed under the guild changes and new guidelines.
Sending the staff and members tells every single night, asking them to pry information from me, and the staff, will do you no good, so stop doing it. Your reasons have been put before you, multiple times now. It's not a good situation for you, and all I can say is I'm sorry, but that's life.

Yeah, it's an asshole thing to put pornography on people's personal websites because they used an image from your website without your expressed permission - just as one example of many things that I could be called out on just the same).
But last I checked, that's the point of Agony. We're a bunch of guys who fuck around and fuck shit up just the same, and the only time drama comes up is when Verato wants to try and make agony some fluffy bunny guild for the female members. Then everyone complains, then it's back to normal.

I don't know why I'm bothering to reply to this, but nonetheless... Agony isn't about being "fluffy bunnies" or assholes. If we were percieved as such in the past on Vazaelle, that was then, this is now. I guess you could say Agony has matured a small amount since then, which is probably connected to the fact that more of us are finishing school, getting jobs, getting married, etc.
Things change, sometimes for the better.
forgive me V and other Agonites, i know im talking out of turn here but 2 things tend mentioned i felt compelled to reply to:
several people left due to the server xfers as they were fed up with queues on doomhammer - some also left due to the recent changes of raiding rules (that serves the guild more than the individuals) and takes some adjustment but the purpose is clear and fair (they remain welcomed members on the forums btw and for that we are grateful as they are sorely missed)
V's fiancee should never have been brought up - but since you did... she apped to a guild that she felt fit her style of playing more than agony i.e. we dont raid enough for her and she's become more hardcore and wants to experience a more hardcore guild - whether she made the right decision or not is up to her and the guild she apped to as they try to determine if the fit is right. has nothing to do with anything you may assume or imply...
i never had issues with you tend, in fact, when i first signed on to agony, you were the first to offer help and gave me my first mech squirrel - for that i thank you, but i'm disappointed in your post. of course you have every right to be disgruntled and upset - and like in ANY guild, any one person is unhappy from time to time, but you brush it off and gain perspective and move on - but your potshots and comments here only makes the final decision to cull the membership even more valid.

and i NEVER said i wasn't an asshole. i'm a motherfucking huge asshole with extra sprinkles and chocolate fucking syrup, but when it comes to the guild i login early for raids, i contribute strats and info when i see relevance, and when i have a problem i don't dick around crying on forums and airing my complaints, i talk to the management and get it resolved.

where the hell ahve you been? were you trhere when we were originally grinding our toons? where you there when we were learning mc? for our first dozen ony attempts and eventual kill? were you there for learning the strats to rag? nope. what did you last stick out? seriously tend you haven't helped do shit for the guild and all you tried to do was get handouts and carried through all the end game content. i'm truly sorry you blew it, i'm sorry you're so thick headed you can't see the difference between yourself and the assholes who are still in the guild.

in the end Tend you're the one who did this, your attitude and approach to all the peole in the guild. you took the tough guy i'm gonna start shit approach when you should have asked Verato "hey man i understand i'm not a fit, but what could i do to improve and possibly change to become a better fit for the guild?" this whole thread might be on a different tone. but that was YOUR decision, not ours.

Am I an asshole for it? Not really, the guild has to work a certain way for us to succeed, the folks who are a detriment to the guild as a whole, or non-contributors are now without tags. It's not a difficult concept.

I've never been a detriment to the guild, and I've definitely contributed my share in the past, and what I could in wow.
Yeah I came back into the game late. Yes, I didn't realize the rarity of the boe drops in the bank. I figured they were like phase 1 potime loots cept they were tradeable, hence I didn't realize what the big deal was until i stuck my foot in my mouth asking for them prompted by other guilded mages that motivated me to do so.
Doom - the thing you don't realize is that I didn't get kicked out over asking for banked boe drops. I got kicked out because Verato doesn't like me. I came back to the game, got my toon to 60 quickly, got a good collection of FR gear, got myself flagged, and just as I'm ready to start raiding hardcore (I still play every day all the time), I got booted. Yeah, considering I didn't do anything wrong, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Seriously man, lay off me.
My intentions were not to start "drama", but exhibit the simple fact this is if nothing else completely unfair. I'm glad I was able to at least get this ridiculous bullshit out in the open, even if only for my own sake.
