Just so everybody knows, this is so many dimensions of wrong it's laughable. You don't have to be paying a company to cause fiscal damage. Saying "the EULA isn't a legal document" doesn't make it true - it can be challenged, but that doesn't make it not exist. And on and on - it's hilarious the justification people use for this shit.

That being said, nobody is going to go after the *players* on something like this. Just (if they care) make life hard for the organizers.

I hope Sony ends up giving the creators their blessing on the project and not taking them to court because, as you said, they are just so very, very wrong in so many ways. Copyright and trademark infringement, nom nom.

As much as I nostalgize (and make up new words) about the old days of EQ, I would never ever want to go back to that game. Way too much grind.

My issue currently.. and why I stopped after a couple hours.. is that the resolution does not size to my screen properly. I have to play in windowed mode, but the frame is almost zoomed in. Makes it almost unplayable.. mouse sensitivity is awful.

to fix the mouse sensitivity, put your max framerates down to 99 instead of at 100

dunno why it works but it does
