So I buy Royal Canin prescription food at the local petsmart, because they are the only vet clinic that carries it around here. I received this email from the vet hospital. I think this is a great cause, and if anyone can find a few minutes to vote once a day, that would be awesome!

Vote to Help Hospice Patients Keep Their Pets!
We are sending this email on behalf of our charitable partner, Banfield Charitable Trust (BCT). This is not a request for money, but a way for you to help the BCT win a $250,000 grant with your online vote.
BCT is competing in the Pepsi Refresh Project, a national grant competition. Winners are decided through an online voting process. With your vote, BCT can win $250,000 to fund Pet Peace of Mind, a program that provides local non-profit hospices across the country with resources and funding to help thousands of hospice patients keep their Pets during the time they need them most.

Learn more about the Pet Peace of Mind program and other important work of Banfield Charitable Trust.

Sorry Halie. I hate signing up for crap too. I don't think there is a way around it, but you don't have to check the boxes so they can send you spam.
